Need to cancel your project? No worries, we can still part on good terms. Here's our updated cancellation and refund policy to help you understand the applicable refunds upon cancellation after the booking payment period.

Cancelling Your Project
If something isn’t working out and you need to cancel your project, we understand. We’ll do our best to ensure a smooth and clear process. Below is our policy detailing the refund eligibility based on the project phase.

Cancelling/Replacing Product(s) in Your Order
If something isn’t working out and you need to cancel your project, we understand. We’ll do our best to ensure a smooth and clear process. Below is our policy detailing the refund eligibility based on the project phase.

Booking Fee: A 10% fee of your projected quote (or ₹50,000, whichever is higher) is collected as a token amount to secure Neshstories' services.
Design in Progress: During this stage, you and your designer actively work to finalize the home designs. Before the final Execution Order is issued, any product in the tentative quotation can be replaced or removed. If you decide to cancel the project after 72 hours from booking, no refund will be provided. This fee covers the designer’s time and effort in preparing the initial pitch and quotations.
Execution Order: This final order is issued by your designer to proceed with the execution of all your designs, products, and services after receiving 50% of your order value.
Manufacturing: Once your final Execution Order is issued, all products and designs enter the manufacturing phase. At this stage, Neshstories cannot accommodate cancellations, replacements, or modifications of items.
Installation: After your products have been manufactured and/or sourced and are ready for installation, Neshstories cannot offer cancellations, replacements, or modifications of items. The customer must honour the payment of the outstanding Execution Order.

1) Can I get a refund if I cancel my project within 72 hours of booking?
Yes, if you cancel your project within 72 hours of paying the booking fee, you are eligible for a 100% refund.

2) What happens if I want to cancel the project after the design process has started?
Once the design process has started, cancellations are not eligible for a refund. This is to cover the designer’s time and effort.

3) Is it possible to cancel or modify my order during the manufacturing stage?
No, once the final Execution Order is raised and your products enter the manufacturing stage, cancellations, replacements, or modifications are not possible.

4) Can I cancel or change items during the installation phase?
No, after your products are manufactured and ready for installation, cancellations or modifications are not allowed. The customer is required to pay the remaining balance of the Execution Order.

5) What is the booking fee and is it refundable?
The booking fee is 10% of your projected quote or ₹50,000, whichever is higher. It is taken as a token amount to secure our services. If you cancel within 72 hours, you will receive a 100% refund. Beyond 72 hours, no refund will be provided.

An Execution Order is the final order issued by your designer to proceed with the execution of all your designs, products, and services. It is issued after you pay 50% of your order value.

9) How long do I have to cancel my project after the booking payment?
You have 72 hours to cancel your project after making the booking payment to be eligible for a full refund. After 72 hours, no refunds will be given.

10) What should I do if I want to cancel my project?

11) When will I get my refund?
You will get your refund in 7 days after your cancellation is approved.
